  1. But what if I don't have any special talents - at least not ones that the world values?

  2. Hi Mirage,

May I recommend learning to code or weld. Both are difficult to master, but I did the latter for 4 years, now I'm learning the former. Neither requires a history in the field and both are just practice-based. More practice = more skill. Both pay well, too.

No body language to figure out for either career, and for most coding positions, from what I hear, you're basically with other coders all day, if not remote, so you don't have to deal with stuff.

I am not affiliated with, but would like you recommend to you the Career Karma website. You can only make a profile with their mobile app, but the whole site has info on schools, self-teaching, and other aids having to do with coding. It's a great networking site too, which I'm learning is super useful, if you find the right people.

Oh, and remember that developing a new history with something takes forever, so just be prepared -- you might have to get bored for awhile and pick it back up!

    Happy Living,
    Josh Borthick
